Bay Food Market has been Lancaster's neighborhood butcher since 1932 — locally owned and operated at the corner of Maple and Walnut the whole time. We make our own brats and fresh sausage, and we cure and smoke our own hams, bacon, and sausage in-house.

Every pound of red meat we sell is processed in our own state-inspected facility — the only fully inspected red meat facility in Fairfield County. That means an Ohio Department of Agriculture inspector is standing in our plant any time we process, checking the safety and quality of what goes in your freezer. Our meat isn't available at any other grocery. Period.

Raising your own beef or hog — or bringing in a deer? Our state-inspected plant cuts, wraps, and freezes to your exact spec sheet. Dates fill fast in the fall; reserve yours online with a $50 deposit that comes off your bill.
